Life Casting Berlin is the studio of sculptor Brooke Meenan. Each cast is taken directly from the body and finished by hand into a sculpture — not a copy, but a trace that stays.
Some people come to mark a decade, a relationship, a body they have worked for or are about to leave behind. Others commission a piece for an exhibition, a stage or a collection. Every session is private, unhurried and guided step by step — in English or German.

Sessions by appointment only, never with an audience. No shop, no walk-ins.
No images without consent
Your cast is never photographed or shown without your written consent.
Every body, every age
No ideal to meet. Bodies of every gender, shape and age are welcome and treated with the same care.

Consultations and sessions in English or German. Questions are welcome — before, during and after.

Free and without obligation. We talk about the idea, the pose, the finish and the timing.
Preparation
A short written guide: what to wear, how to prepare, what to expect on the day.
The session
Skin-safe, water-based alginate, plaster bandages for support. Warm, calm, guided step by step.
Finishing
The cast is refined by hand — white plaster, patina, gold leaf or bronze — and delivered ready to hang.
Lovely studio, highly professional with a sense for privacy and discretion.

Brooke Meenan
Sculptor. Studied painting and interdisciplinary practice at the Kansas City Art Institute, then at the Edinburgh College of Art, and holds a Master’s from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Working with casting processes and materials in Berlin for many years.
About the studioBefore you ask
What does a body cast cost?
Private sessions start at €390 for an intimate cast, €550 for a breast or chest cast and €850 for a torso. Couples’ casts, full-body casts and commissions are quoted individually. Finishes such as patina, gold leaf or bronze are calculated separately.
Is it comfortable? Does it hurt?
No. The alginate is skin-safe and water-based and does not pull out hair. It feels cool for a moment and then warms up. You are guided through every step and can pause at any time.
Can we come as a couple?
Yes. Casts of two — hands, torsos or an embrace — are among the most personal pieces the studio makes. A session for two needs a little more time; we plan it together in the call.
Who sees my cast?
Only you and the artist. Nothing is photographed, shown or published without your written consent.
