Life Casting Berlin is an artist-led, FLINTA-run sculpture studio exploring the human body through casting.
Everyone is welcome here — every body, every age, every story. I’m a sculptor, trained in painting and interdisciplinary art, and I’ve been casting bodies in Berlin for many years. Most people arrive a little nervous. That’s normal. I explain every step, we take our time, and there is usually some laughing along the way.

From the studio
Hi, I’m Brooke.
People usually find the studio because of me — and that’s exactly how it should be. You will spend a few hours with me, so you should know who you are trusting with your body.
I studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Edinburgh College of Art and did my Master’s at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. What I love most about casting is the moment the mould comes off and someone sees themselves in a completely new way.

Sessions by appointment only, never with an audience. No shop, no walk-ins.
No images without consent
Your cast is never photographed or shown without your written consent.
Every body, every age
No ideal to meet. Every gender, shape and age is welcome and treated with the same care.

Every project starts with a call. I take on each one personally, so I choose them with care.

Preparation
A short guide: what to wear, how to prepare, what to expect on the day.
The session
Skin-safe, water-based alginate, plaster bandages for support. Warm, calm, step by step.
Finishing
I refine every cast by hand — plaster, pigment, gold leaf or bronze. No one should hold their breath.
Lovely studio, highly professional with a sense for privacy and discretion.
One of the most unusual and memorable creative experiences I’ve had. The final sculpture turned out stunning.
Before you ask
What does a body cast cost?
Private sessions start at €390 for a vulva cast, €550 for a breast or chest cast and €850 for a torso. Casts for two, full-body casts and commissions are planned individually. Finishes such as pigment, gold leaf or bronze are calculated separately.
Does it hurt?
No. The alginate is skin-safe and water-based and does not pull out hair. It feels cool for a moment and then warms up. You can pause at any time.
How long until my sculpture is ready?
About three months. Every piece is refined and finished by hand, and good things take time.
Who sees my cast?
Only you and me. Nothing is photographed, shown or published without your written consent.
